The historic downtown enjoys tree-lined streets, boutiques, and cozy cafes in a tight knit community offering a unique blend of natural beauty, community warmth, and cultural richness. We are big enough to offer a comprehensive curriculum with a wide variety of opportunities, yet small enough to build strong connections with staff, students, and families. The high school boasts robust CTE and STEM opportunities and many advanced placement classes, and technology integration is robust across the district. Importantly, FGSD is known nationally for its inclusive practices for all students. Take a minute to get to know FGSD, where we prepare our diverse community of students to thrive in a global society.

Our community is deeply committed to giving students the education and experiences they need to enable them to be confident, lifelong learners. Anchored by our maxims: Care Deeply, Stand Strong, and Adapt and Grow, we are a community where everyone plays a role in shaping the educational experience of our children.
